The CSEA/BUSD Bargaining teams met today in our 1st Successor Agreement negotiations meeting. The session was very productive and successful. CSEA provided BUSD with initial proposals on Articles 4 (Organizational Security), Article 6 (Leaves), Article 12 (Salaries), Article 13 (Health & Welfare Benefits), Article 16 (Layoffs), Article 17 (Completion of Agreement) & Article 18 (Terms of the Contract). The District provided an initial proposal on Article 7 (Holidays) and counter proposals on Article 4 (Organizational Security), Article 6 (Leaves), Article 16 (Layoffs), Article 17 (Completion of Agreement) & Article 19 (Terms of the Contract). The teams were able to reach Tentative Agreements on Article 4 (Organizational Security), Article 6 (Leaves), Article 7 (Holidays), Article 17 (Completion of Agreement) & Article 18 (Terms of the Contract).
